Whatever it takes... by GSkills Whatever it takes... by GSkills
...to survive in this bleak world.

This is my take on the steampunk style in a post apocalyptic world.

I've really become interested in steampunk and actuallly pretty much anything old and interesting whilst working on this piece. The steampunk style/futuristic style is sure to feature in my future works.

Done with pental mechanical pencils, 0.7, 0.9mm mainly using a 2b lead and I finally got to use my clutch pencil whilst working on the clouds.

Thanks for looking as always.

Peace and love

G

I can see it! What did you use for the deepest black? They're awesome and really add depth to the whole hair  the light strands pop out a lot!

:omg: ..and it turned out THAT black with a 2B?? What kind of paper did you use to catch that amount of graphite?

Yeah, I've found that I can get a darker finish when using a mechanical pencil and applying quite a lot of pressure.

I use Bristol Board, nothing special.

Cool.. it's not sold here in Italy unfortunately.. I would have tried that paper. So mechanical pencils go darker.. mmh very interesting...
